A venue with room for the whole story

The Fairmont is the wedding and event venue at Vantom Village – a family-run countryside estate of lakes, gardens, woodland and red-brick courtyards.

Welcome guests in a warm, light-filled hall, step out onto the terrace and gardens, and take your photographs by the lily ponds and arched bridge. Dinner can be served by Merchant of Venice, and guests can wander the grounds between moments.

We’re a small, family-run team, and every celebration is planned with you – so tell us what you have in mind and we’ll show you what’s possible.

The Fairmont

A versatile setting at the centre of it all. The Fairmont is in the midst of an exciting transformation and will soon be one of the village’s most beautiful entertaining spaces – a spectacular setting for ceremonies, dining, drinks and dancing, with guests free to drift between indoors and the outdoor areas around it as the day becomes evening.

The Forest

For something quieter and more atmospheric, the woodland is a beautiful setting for a ceremony, a toast, welcome drinks or photographs with the people closest to you, before the celebration continues elsewhere in the village. Styling and decoration are yours to personalise. Tables and chairs are included.

The Lakeside

A new exclusive celebration area is being created beside the lake, offering a peaceful waterside setting framed by the Nottinghamshire countryside – perhaps the most private corner of the village.

Carnival Park

The village’s great open-air ground: a wide, open space capable of welcoming thousands of guests, set against a beautiful natural backdrop and surrounded by trees. A blank canvas for marquees, a stage, bars and food stalls, with easy access for guests.

Planned around you

Food

A relaxed buffet, Italian dining by Merchant of Venice, or fully bespoke menus – from £25 to £75 per person, discussed with our team. External catering can be arranged where agreed with us in advance.

Drinks & music

A private bar on site can stay open throughout your celebration. Prefer to supply your own drinks? That can be arranged subject to a corkage charge. Live bands, musicians and DJs are welcome, subject to final arrangements, and evening finish times are agreed with your booking.

Layouts & stay

Seating and layouts are worked out with you around the space, date and guest numbers. Make a weekend of it in the Log Cabin, which sleeps approximately 6 to 8 guests.

Ceremony options depend on what is legally permitted at the venue. We don’t assume every type of ceremony is available – please ask us what can currently be arranged at The Fairmont for your plans, and we’ll give you a clear answer before you book.

Whether or not your ceremony is held with us, the venue is available for your reception, party and celebration.

Can we have our ceremony at The Fairmont?

Ceremony options depend on what is legally permitted at the venue. Please ask us what is currently available for your type of ceremony when you enquire – we will not assume that every ceremony type is possible.

What catering is available?

How many guests can The Fairmont host?

It depends on the space. Carnival Park can welcome thousands of guests; capacities for The Fairmont, The Forest and The Lakeside are confirmed on enquiry. The Fairmont is currently being transformed – book a viewing and we will talk you through the finished space and timings.

Is there accommodation for guests?

The Log Cabin at Vantom Villas, which sleeps approximately 6 to 8 guests, is currently our only accommodation – enquire for availability.
